Second of all, you are going to have to pick a self storage unit that is compatible with your schedule.  Surprisingly, many people seem to forget about that as they are calling around, and they end up landing themselves in a world of hurt at the end of the day.  OF course, you can avoid all of these problems by simply asking your properties what they office hours are, and what their access hours are.  Be sure that you are going to be able to get to your unit during the access hours, and that you are not going to be cutting things too close.  The very last thing that you are going to want, here, is to get yourself stuck inside of the gate after your access hours have ended for the evening.  That is going to be a mess that you are not going to want to deal with; not one bit.

As you can see, reader, there are only a few things that you have to keep in mind when you are calling around to rent a self storage unit.  More often than not, you are going to be able to find a unit in your area that has all of the features and hours that you could ever need.  Just do your homework in the beginning, and you will not live to regret a thing.
