People often call in looking for prices on storage units. Many are disappointed when the unit is more than they were expecting to pay. For those who are looking for self storage for the first time, they are pleasantly surprised when they hear the price for the first time. Many believe self storage to be a very cheap solution to storing their things. This is still true, but depending on the area and what you are looking for, a self storage unit could be higher in price than you are expecting. Be very careful though as you are looking around because just because you find a facility that is very cheap does not always mean that facility is the best for you.

It is very pleasing to the self storage industry to have customers who are looking for security over the price. Facilities put a lot of time and effort into figuring out what is best for the customer and to help their situation the best. Self storage owners work vigorously crunching numbers, looking at competition, researching the community and more to determine what features will best fit their storage facility. They do all this research only to find that a vast majority of customers are looking for a very low price, but also demand their belongings to be safe.
What self storage owners have to do is find the right employees to work for them that are able to inform the customer on why they need these security features and to create some value around them. The customer wants the best for what they have and the owners know their facilities can deliver. With all the hard work these owners put in finding the right combination of value and security, the love to hear that customers want great security over anything else.
