The lid of the container should be closed completely before it is loaded onto the truck. A very important packing tip is that to put heavy items in small containers and that too as single items. This is because packing two or more heavy items in larger boxes will make it impossible for one to lift them for loading and unloading. In the moving storage it is always better to pack the bulky articles at the bottom and the lighter ones at the top for better balancing. Also keeping light items on top will ensure that they are transported without getting crushed.

Another tip that should be followed is that the weight in a container should be evenly distributed. There should be no uneven distribution of load in the container as their balance might get disturbed during the transportation. The door of the truck in which the loading is taking place should be kept wide open and care should be taken to keep it that way. Otherwise during packing it might bang against a person or a thing while closing, which can be quite a disastrous thing to happen. It is better to lock up the moving storage boxes with superior quality locks as this ensures safety for the items.
