Finally, reader, you are going to want to be sure that you are calling around to get quotes on moving trucks.  Even if you are not renting a self storage unit, you are going to have to be sure that you have a nice, convenient, and safe way of getting your belongings from point A to point B.  Depending on the time of year, you may find that calling two weeks ahead of time is still cutting it close.  These trucks can get really, really popular from time to time, so it is actually critical that you give yourself plenty of time to call around and place your reservations.

At the end of the day, you are going to be very happy that you adopted an actual plan when it comes to moving your home.  When you do not have a plan, you very quickly fall victim to bouts of extreme stress and doubt.  By setting your chores in stone, though, and by giving yourself a rough understanding of when you are going to do them, you can guarantee that things do not become overwhelming when they do not have to be.
