Moving on, here, you are also going to want to be sure that you have kept your eyes open for all of the specials that your local facilities have to offer.  Typically speaking, your local self storage facilities are going to issue tons of specials as a way of enticing new customers.  As you are calling around, then, you are going to want to be sure that you are asking your potential property managers about whether or not they are going to be able to offer you any specials.  If you do actually get an offer from one of your property managers, then you are going to want to be sure that you write it down and store it someplace safe.  You are going to want to compare it against the other specials that you are offered as you are calling around.

Finally, reader, you are going to want to be sure that you are getting a rough feel for the security that your local facilities can offer.  If you do not know whether or not your local properties are safe, then you are not going to be able to store your belongings and feel safe about them at night.  Thus, as you are calling around, you are going to have to be sure that you are asking your property managers about what they are going to do, specifically, to keep your belongings safe while you are gone.
